Grant Writer:
Primeros Pasos seeks a Grant Writer to research and draft proposals and reports for government, corporation, and foundation grants.

Responsibilities:
-Research and identify government and private funding prospects both national and international -Create and make presentations to local pharmaceutical companies asking for donations of medicines and medical equipment
-Generate proposals and supporting documents in response to solicitations
- Prepare bi-weekly reports on progress of duties to Development Director
Qualifications:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficient computer skills Microsoft Office Word, Access, PowerPoint, and Exceland database management skills
- Nonprofit development background preferred
- Highly organized
- Fluent in English - Spanish proficiency
Additional notes:
-This is a part-time job of 20 hours per week, the stipend is Q1500/month
-You must live in Xela
-You must have a personal laptop computer
-Familiarity with the clinic, clinic staff and the programs is a plus
-Must be willing to volunteer at the clinic for at least 1 month at the beginning of the job if not familiar with Primeros Pasos
